Isaiah

Devoured by the night;
When the moon is out of sight.
Thoughts of you remain,
As teardrops of stars rain.

Darkness conceived figures;
With fear entangled in the creatures,
So I buried myself in your embrace;
Deep within your arms, I found solace.

Echoes of agony linger;
As I am haunted by a stranger,
Yet, with your heartbeat’s melody,
Chaos inside me died in symphony.

Lost in a huge labyrinth of stone;
Enclosed in cold walls yelling a deaf moan,
Then, I felt the warmth of your breath;
Pulling me from the pit of death.

Vultures wait for dawn to break,
As their raptor stomachs ache.
But before sunrise, my corpse vanished;
You saved my soul that’s famished.
